Mount Albert, 1950’s

This classic Mount Albert 1950’s house has now had 2 phases of Heritage Windows installed by Kiwi DG. The old green timber insert windows where removed and replaced with off white Heritage Windows double glazed with ‘Silence’ glass to insulate and reduce road noise. Horizontal bars where placed within the double glazing to keep the original look.

With the timber surrounds painted by the client’s painter the windows are completely restored and now far exceed modern performance standards.

"The look of our new windows is exactly what we wanted and the performance is incredible. The road noise is gone and the cold zones around the windows are also no longer there. Thank you Scott for such a great job" Client: Mr VW

Blockhouse Bay Brick & Tile

Blockhouse Bay Brick & Tile, The Heritage Window

The owners of this brick and tile house approached us after a friend of theirs had some Heritage Windows installed and they liked what they saw. The owner was considering routing out the existing timber inserts to accept double glazing but he did not want the ongoing maintenance of timber.

Kiwi DG purpose made 36 Heritage Windows in Karaka Green, these were installed back into the beautiful Rimu timber surrounds.

All Heritage Windows are thermally broken, double glazed and fitted with traditional timber window fittings.

"The Heritage Windows are great, we can already notice the difference in the all-round temperature of the house. Visually you can't even tell that the windows have been replaced - it looks like they have been painted. I am also very pleased that I won’t have to paint anywhere near glass again! Thank you Kiwi DG for an awesome job." Client: Mr H

Titirangi Villa, The Heritage Window

This beautifully renovated Titirangi Villa chose to use our Heritage Windows to improve insulation yet retain all of the original charm of the home.

Kiwi DG installed 10 purpose made Heritage Windows into the original timber sub frames, the client decided to retain the upper single glazed leaded light windows.

"We are absolutely thrilled with the windows, our main concern was keeping the classic look of the house whilst upgrading the windows to double glazing, Kiwi DG have certainly done this for us." Client: Mrs Murphy
