Inserting double glazed units into aluminium is a simple process. For fixed (non-opening) windows, the aluminium bead is removed to reveal the double glazing pocket.
The double glazed unit is placed inside the pocket and a new colour matched bead is put in place to hold the unit in place.
For sash (opening) windows, the complete sash is removed and replaced with a new double glazed sash frame, new stays and new handles.
The special adaptor frame is fitted into the sliding door, the adaptor frame holds the new double glazed unit.
