About Kiwi Double Glazing
We specialise in retrofit double glazing and have over 15 years of experience in the glass and double glazing industry, both in NZ and the UK. We started out as Auckland Double Glazing and have recently changed our name to Kiwi Double Glazing as we look to expand our retrofit specialist service right throughout New Zealand.
Kevin Smith and Scott Cutler started the business and, combined, have over 30 years experience in the glass and double glazing industry, both in NZ and the UK.
Our aim is to provide a friendly and professional service to all of our customers, which covers offering specific advice relating to the customers’ needs, right through to completing the job and after sales service.
NZ regulations stipulate that all new build and replacement windows are required to have double glazed units and we hope to provide a cheaper alternative to full replacement with our retrofit service. Retrofitting your existing windows is a quick, simple process and can be approx. 30%-50% cheaper than replacing the entire window frame.
